Test your YouTube thumbnail before you upload
Upload one to three thumbnails. Each reviewer sees one of them in a two-column feed next to five real videos from your niche and answers a single question: which one would you click?
Sign up gives you 5 credits. One review you give = one credit.
Why a feed, not a side-by-side
Nobody chooses your thumbnail next to your other thumbnail. They choose it next to whatever else YouTube put on the screen. Showing two of your own options side by side measures a comparison that never happens; showing one option inside a realistic feed measures the one that does.
What you get
Pick rate per thumbnail, average decision time in milliseconds, and the position the thumbnail sat in — so a win is not just a lucky spot. A winner badge appears only when one option leads by three votes or more; below that the honest answer is "too close to call".
Thumbnail and title travel together
Each candidate thumbnail is shown with one of your titles, picked at random, because that is the pair a viewer actually judges. Step two then shows the pair alone and asks what the video promises, which is where a thumbnail that wins clicks but misleads gets caught.
What it costs
One credit per reviewer. You start with five credits and earn one for every review you give, so a five-reviewer test is free if you have reviewed five videos. A test stays open for 72 hours and unused credits are returned.
Questions
Is the thumbnail test free?
Yes. Credits are earned by reviewing other creators — one review, one credit — and a five-reviewer test costs five credits. Buying credits is optional.
How many thumbnails can I test at once?
Up to three thumbnails and three titles per test. Each reviewer sees one combination, so the votes stay independent.
How many reviewers do I need for a meaningful result?
Five tells you whether a thumbnail is clearly broken. Ten to fifteen is where a winner badge starts to mean something, since it needs a three-vote gap.
Do the other videos in the feed belong to real channels?
Yes. They are current videos from your niche, so your thumbnail is judged against the competition it will actually face.
